ABOUT SWIO It

The main competition, the SWIO It, is carried out 12-13 February. Participating teams are allocated to the petanque centres of Helsingborg, Höganäs and Åstorp. Bus transport from the Hotel Scandic Horisont in Helsingborg to the petanque centres in Höganäs and Åstorp is included in the fee and is organized by the Organizer.

SATURDAY 12 February

Gathering in the petanque centres 08.45. Game start 09:00.

SWIO It begins with a group game with four teams in each group. The two best teams from each group progresses in the main tournament. The two teams who are excluded in connection with the group game continue thereafter in the side tournament SKÅNE OPEN.

After the group stage SWIO It continues with direct exclusion up to 1/8.
The teams who are excluded in the case of direct exclusion are thereafter ready for games in the side tournament ÖRESUND OPEN beginning on Sunday, 13 February.

SKÅNE OPEN is a side tournament for teams who have been excluded in connection with the group game of the SWIO It. It starts on Saturday in the same petanque center as soon as you have got an opposing team. On Saturday there will be played only the group game. The remaining part of SKÅNE OPEN takes place during Sunday in Jutan, the petanque centre of Helsingborg.
Total prize money of SKÅNE OPEN is 6 000 SEK.

SUNDAY February 13

The finals of the SWIO It will be played in Jutan, the petanque center of Helsingborg, according to the following timetable:

-         Quarterfinals 11:00

-         Semi-finals 13:00

-         Final 15:00

SKÅNE OPEN

The rest of the tournament will be played complete in Jutan, the petanque center of Helsingborg, during Sunday. Gathering 08:45. Game start 09:00.

ÖRESUND OPEN

The tournament will be played in the petanque centre of Höganäs with gathering 08:45 and games start 09:00. The contest begins with a group game and then implemented in the form of direct exclusion.

Total prize money in the ÖRESUND OPEN is 11 400 SEK.
